  1. Hi Bob,

I was just told about taintradio by a lady in England. (I live in DC). Do you ever play any Roger Clyne and the Peacemakers?

I had trouble finding your site. I tried googling http://www.taintradio.org but only found a few other sites that mentioned your site, so I clicked on your address and you finally popped up. Not sure what I was doing wrong. I want to spread the word, but not sure what to tell others is the easiest way to find you.

    Any suggestions?

  2. Hello Jill,

Yes, we’ve played Roger Clyne and the Peacemakers. In fact, Barry Everitt played “I Know You Know” last Saturday night on his London-based program, House of Mercy. Best way to spread the word is tell’em to go directly to taintradio.org.

As you can see from our website, we are really an alliance of independent producers rather than a conventional radio station (internet or otherwise). No station format is imposed and each host is free to present whatever music they wish to.

Since the range of what we play is not centrally controlled, taintradio is open to every genre of music but possibly unattractive to genre “purists” of every description. And that’s about as unradio-like as it gets. We dismiss all theories about “what people are ready for” as a tad slow-witted and uninteresting.

In any event, thanks for writing, thanks for listening and thanks for helping to spread the word. We don’t have much money and we’re kinda hype-deficient. So we’re really hoping and expecting to get by with a little help from our friends.

    Best regards,

    Bob Rogers
