Graig from Crooked Still wrote, produced and arranged the past record of the week
‘ Carry Me To Home ‘ and they perform in the Snake Pit as they set out on a five week
tour of Europe with Cahalen Morrison & Eli West.
Our record of the week comes from Richmond, Virginia where The Hot Seats have been
whipping up a storm for a few years, I saw them as Special Ed and the Shortbus who played
The Maverick festival three years ago, they have mixed all the Shortbus ragtime with
bluegrass and this album ‘LIVE’ pretty much sums up where they are at…..HOT!!!
Recorded at the Ashland Coffee & Tea House in April this year.
I played a Bill Morrissey track last week and you wrote to tell me he had passed away back in July,
this I didn’t know. I was having my own medical problems then as well, so this week I have
included a short set of Bill’s music into the last hour. RIP Bill Morrissey your music lives on.
