Maurice Hogue moves One man’s jazz to is pleased to announce that veteran program producer/host Maurice Hogue (formerly at CKUW/Winnipeg),  will join taintradio‘s alliance of independent producers.  One man’s jazz, a weekly three-hour program, will debut on taintradio at 9pm (eastern) on Thursday, January 19th.  The program will repeat Mondays 4-7am (eastern).  We are confident that Maurice Hogue and taintradio are a perfect match.

Hogue noted, “The show has moved after much consideration, given that I had been at CKUW since it began operations in 1999.  I hope to present the same great music, just a different platform.  taintradio started in 2008 as an outlet for independent producers and is fast developing a reputation for eclectic programming of all stripes and tastes…I will be posting playlists on taintradio’s website and on, along with the other listener features long associated with One Man’s Jazz.”

taintradio provides 24/7 non-commercial, listener-supported music presentations from New York City, Philadelphia, Boston, Maine, London, Seattle, St. Croix, Winnipeg, Warrenton (NC) and Raleigh.  JazzWeek subscribers named taintradio JazzWeek’s Internet Station of the Year, the first music stream awarded this recognition.  Several other new programs are in various stages of development.
