  1. Great stuff. I played part of this show for my music history. Most of the students missed class for a field trip, but those who remained really dug Jackie Mac and company.

  2. Jackie Mac always refreshes the soul. I have fond memories of going to Slug’s to see the quintet in which Jackie and Lee Morgan regularly alternated as titular leaders. Of course, the mention of Lee Morgan and Slug’s inevitably brings a terrible subject to recollection, too.
    I wish that lethal night could be taken back.
